According to an old mystic legend, a great evil will rise and destroy many lands until the three sacred weapons: the Dagger, Sword, and Spear become one and destroy it. The Time is 1580, and the legend of evil is now reality. Now Ayame, the last of the Kasumi Clan and holder of the sacred dagger, fights to defeat the evil with the help of Sakon, wheeler of the sacred sword, and Ryoma, the master of the sacred spear. Togther they seek to fullfuil the Prophecy of the Enchanted Swords.

Amazing. This anime has one of the best anime villions I've come across and a very good storyline. Though the one that I watched was a more condenced version (it was orginally out in 3 tapes) I still found myself captivated by the anime. The animation is great, though not surpurb, and the characters are set up with good quality. You're able to see the development in each person and are given an in depth look into all, along with the secrets they hold. This is defintly and anime you need to add to your collection!!!
